Terms of Use
Last updated: September 4, 2026
These terms govern your use of PixShrink (the “Service”), a free website that compresses images in your browser. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
The service
PixShrink lets you reduce the file size of JPEG, PNG, and WebP images using processing that runs on your device. We do not require an account. Features may change, and the site may display advertisements when the operator enables them.
Your content
You are responsible for the images you process and for having the rights to compress and download them. Because files are not uploaded, we cannot access, restore, or moderate your images. Keep originals if you might need them.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt or overload the website or its host
- Misrepresent the Service as endorsing illegal activity
- Use automated scraping in a way that harms availability
- Circumvent security or access non-public parts of the deployment
No warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that compression will meet a specific quality or size target. Browser differences can affect encoding.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of PixShrink is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Always keep a copy of important originals.
Advertising
The site may include third-party ads (including Google AdSense) when configured. Advertisers are responsible for their own content. See the Privacy Policy for cookie information.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms or discontinue the Service at any time. The date at the top of this page will change when terms are revised. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
If a dispute arises, the laws of the operator's jurisdiction apply, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country say otherwise.
